Standard bulk containers

To choose the most suitable container size it is recommended to view the way in which the compound will be used in the production environment, the volume requirement, the shelf life and the ability to agitate should it be required. On opening a container shelf life guarantee is forfeited and the contents should be used as soon as possible.
1000 KG (IBC) – a returnable and reusable multi-trip container. (1 tonne + Forklift required)
250 KG – a returnable container which is available in a double female bung or *open top. (Forklift required)
25 KG – open top, male screw cap, plastic with male screw cap or * double female bung
5 KG – open top tin or male screw cap plastic bottles
1 KG – open top tin or male screw cap plastic bottles
0.5 KG – open top tin for the Base / Resin and male screw cap plastic bottles for Activator / Hardener
NB. For low density products filling weights will differ from above.
*Extra cost special container.
Returnable 250 kilo containers must meet conditions of return.

Twin packs

The twin pack is a hermetically sealed bag with the Base Resin and Activator/Hardener component segregated by a divider. When choosing the best size of twin pack for application the above method for pre-weighed units applies.
Minimum order quantity for twin packs is 50 per delivered order.
Twin packs can be manufactured to requirement through a prior agreement with the Sales office.
Standard sizes 3kg, 2.5kg, 2kg, 1.5kg, 1kg, 0.75kg, 0.5kg and 0.25kg.

Pre-weighted kits

The pre-weighed kit affords the user with a hassle free method of mixing the product. The two components are supplied, already in the correct ratio, in a tin and bottle therefore there is no requirement for weighing out. To use it is a simple method of pouring the whole of the Activator / Hardener component into the Base / Resin component and mixing (recommended hand mixing methods available on request).
When choosing the most convenient size of container for application always bear in mind:
1. Gelation of material (the larger the mass mixed the less workable life. All technical specifications for gelation are based on 100 grams at 25°C)
2. The application (is an air free mix required and if so will this be achievable based on the gelation of material?)
3. Production run volumes (will the amount of material mixed be too much / too little for the intended production run?)
25 KG – recommended for long cure materials
5 KG – recommended for long cure materials
2.5 KG – recommended for long cure materials
1 KG – recommended for medium cure materials or fast cure where air release not required
0.5 KG – recommended for fast cure materials
0.25 KG – recommended for fast cure materials
